The Catholic church in the Dutch village of Vogelenzang was built in 1858. Theo, Gerard, Aad, Mieke and Henk have been members of the church for a long time and are dedicated volunteers.
During the Sunday service it’s not crowded in the church and most parishioners are 70+. The church is, together with three churches from neighbouring villages, part of one organisation. Due to a lack of volunteers one of them had to close down recently. Watch my short film ‘cake’ here
